Plays a vital role in contributing to the well-being of Landsmeer Ridge Retirement Community residents. He/she reviews and completes quarterly resident assessments and service plans, follows up on medication and health notes/changes, and provides health coaching and recommendations to residents as requested. He/she provides resident education, and assists the certified OCAHS nail nurse with those cares at both Landsmeer Ridge. The Server assists with meal set up by serving beverages. He/she serves the meal, clears the tables, and cleans the dining room. He/she performs housekeeping and dishwashing duties. Number of Hours: 5-10 hours/week Schedule: 4:30pm – 7:00pm, 1-2 evenings a week, and every other weekend from 11:00am – 1:15pm, Sat & Sun, with one 4:30-7:00 shift every other weekend. Fill-in as needed for staff absences. Educational Requirements: Applicants must be at least 14 years old. The PM Grill Cook prepares grill items for hospital patients, staff and guests. He/she assists the cook as needed, washes dishes, cleans the kitchen, cafeteria and dining areas of the hospital. Number of Hours: 0-14 hours/week Schedule: 4:30 pm – 8:00 pm, no set schedule – pick up shifts as needed. Every other weekend & holiday 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Educational Requirements: He/she must take Modified Diet and Sanitation self study courses within 3 months of hire. Must be able to read and understand directions and work independently. Previous grill experience desirable. Other: The applicant must have outstanding customer service skills, be consistently pleasant and able to converse with patients and visitors. The Home Health & Hospice Nurse works as a primary case manager for home health and hospice patients and families in their homes, nursing homes or inpatient facilities. He/she is responsible for providing assessment, interventions, evaluation of patient/family needs, care coordination and case management for his/her caseload of patients. Services are provided to those of all ages; infants to elderly. Number of Hours: Full-time: 32-40 hrs./week; Part-time: 16-24 hrs./week. Schedule: 8:00am – 4:30pm weekdays, generally 2-4 days/week. On – Call every 8th weekend and holiday. 2 – 4 weeknights of call per month. Educational Requirements: RN licensure Other: Home Health or Hospice experience preferred, two or more years of nursing experience is also preferred. The Surgery Circulating Nurse plans, directs, and supervises activities in the delivery of quality, cost effective patient care in Surgery, Central Supply, Scope Procedure Room and Recovery Room. Number of Hours: Full-time: 32 hours/week. Schedule: 4 days/week plus call 1 night/wk plus every 5th weekend Educational Requirements: RN licensure. BLS Other: Med-Surg and/or Surgery experience required.
The Resident Associate Assistant works closely with the Resident Associate supporting them in caring for Assisted and Independent Living facility tenants. They assist with serving meals, cleaning of public areas in the facility, and apartments as needed, and laundry. He/she assists tenants with minimal personal cares, and tending to tenants’ needs as they arise. Number of Hours: Part-Time: 15-25 hours/week. Casual 0-15 hours/week. Schedule: 4:30pm to 9:30pm, 1-5 shifts a week, including rotating weekends. Educational Requirements: No education required, will train to meet job requirements. The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) provides patient care in the pre-hospital setting and during inter-facility transfers, according to Orange City Area Health System Ambulance protocols. The EMT will work as a team member with other EMTs and Paramedics. Number of Hours: Casual: 0-12 hours/week Variable – no regular schedule. Up to 12 hours/week, working one weekend every 8-10 weeks. The ambulance is staffed by on-call EMTs 24/7. The call schedule is flexible with other work/school schedules. The Prairie Ridge RN/LPN acts a team leader at Prairie Ridge Care Center. He/she administers med/treatments and supervises and directs care for approximately 24 – 48 residents. Assesses resident needs, provides input to resident’s plan of care, and provides and documents resident care as identified on the plan of care.
