The Occupational Health RN provides occupational health services to industries and provides employee health services for Orange City Area Health System employees. He/she exhibits excellent customer/guest relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers. The RN is involved in Occupational Health projects such as wellness, training, on-site services for area businesses, etc. Number of Hours: Part-time: 24 hours/week. Schedule: 3 days/week; 8:00am – 4:30pm with occasional early/late hours for screenings, trainings etc. Fill in as needed for other staff. Educational Requirements: RN license required. Experience in occupational health, employee health, or community health and wellness preferred. Other: Functions as a professional member of a health care team. The AM Grill Cook prepares grill items for hospital patients, staff and guests. He/she assists the cook as needed, washes dishes, cleans the kitchen, cafeteria and dining areas of the hospital. Number of Hours: Casual: 0-15 hours/week. Schedule: 6:30 am – 2:30 pm every other weekend and holiday and fill-in as needed. May cross-train to other shifts. Educational Requirements: He/she must take Modified Diet and Sanitation self study courses within 3 months of hire. Must be able to read and understand directions and work independently. The Prairie Ridge Cottage Leader is responsible for the overall management of nursing services and resident care in the Sunrise cottage. She/he is responsible for completion of the MDS’s and Care Plans, assists with the daily staffing in the cottage, and also serves as the Infection Preventionist at Prairie Ridge Care Center. As Infection Preventionist he/she is responsible for the facility’s activities aimed at preventing healthcare-associated infections. The Resident Associate Assistant works closely with the Resident Associate supporting them in caring for Assisted and Independent Living facility tenants. They assist with serving meals, cleaning of public areas in the facility, and apartments as needed, and laundry. He/she assists tenants with some personal cares, and tending to tenants’ needs as they arise. Number of Hours: Casual 10-15 hours/week. The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) provides patient care in the pre-hospital setting and during inter-facility transfers, according to Orange City Area Health System Ambulance protocols. The EMT will work as a team member with other EMTs and Paramedics. Number of Hours: Casual: 0-12 hours/week Variable – no regular schedule. Up to 12 hours/week, working one weekend every 8 weeks.
