The Medical Surgical Nurse Manager plans, directs, supervises and manages nursing activities in the delivery of quality patient care on the inpatient unit. He/she coordinates activities and programs with other hospital services and involved physicians. He/she assumes 24 hour clinical and management responsibility for the inpatient unit. Description: The Activity Assistant will assist with and/or lead scheduled activities for Prairie Ridge Care Center (PRCC) residents in a fun working atmosphere. The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) provides patient care in the pre-hospital setting and during inter-facility transfers, according to Orange City Area Health System Ambulance protocols. The EMT will work as a team member with other EMTs and Paramedics. Number of Hours: Casual: 0-12 hours/week Variable – no regular schedule. Up to 12 hours/week, working one weekend every 8-10 weeks. The ambulance is staffed by on-call EMTs 24/7. The call schedule is flexible with other work/school schedules.
