Oncology/Chemotherapy – Infusion Center

When cancer strikes close to home, it’s nice to know you can receive care and therapy at Orange City Area Health System.

Our Infusion Center provides chemotherapy/biotherapy/immunotherapy and other treatments as prescribed — so you do not have to travel far for quality, compassionate, and personalized care. The Infusion Center is open 5 days a week from 8am-4pm, so there are more options for treatments and supportive therapies in a place you are comfortable with and people you know.

Chemotherapy

Oncologist Dr. Travis Snyders or a Nurse Practitioner from Sanford are on-site two times per month to see new patients and review care with current patients. June E. Nylen Cancer Center also continues on-site services once a month to consult with current patients and new patients referred to their care.

The Infusion Center (outpatient services)

The Infusion Center is open Monday-Friday 8am-4pm for outpatient infusions and injections. We offer treatments for Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Crohn’s Disease, IV antibiotics, and much more!  Our open concept room allows us to monitor our patients constantly and provides a comforting, comradery for our patients. We also have a private room available upon request.

Our caring and skilled nurses monitor the outpatient schedule closely and get to know patients on a more personal level. Our goal is to provide punctual and accurate medical treatment as prescribed by a physician or provider with a positive, loving attitude. We work with our patients’ insurance companies and prescribing doctors to make sure treatments are covered or preauthorized correctly. Physicians from all area hospitals trust us to take care of our local patients’ outpatient needs.

The Infusion Center features comfortable recliners and professional, caring staff – and offers a view of the PuddleJumper Trail with plenty of windows and natural light.
