Salad Cook, Hospital

The Salad Cook prepares the salads, the salad bar & desserts for patients, staff and visitors.  The Salad Cook is included in clean up and has responsibility for washing dishes, operating the dish machine, and doing assigned cleaning also.  He/she puts away dishes, stocks items, and helps run the POS system in the cafeteria. The casual Salad Cook position will primarily focus on salad duties.

Number of Hours:   Casual: 0-15 hours/week     

Schedule:  6:30am – 2:30pm, every other weekend and holiday  

Educational Requirements:  High school diploma desired.  He/she must take a modified diet and sanitation course provided through the dietary department. Other:   The applicant must have good customer service skills, be willing to fill in as needed and be a team player.  He/she must be well organized and able to follow directions.  Cooking experience a plus.
