The PM Cook Assistant works with the pm cook to set up meal trays for patients. He/she delivers patient trays and is involved in clean up. The PM Cook Assistant has responsibility for washing dishes, operating the dish machine, and doing assigned cleaning. He/she puts away dishes, stocks items, and helps in the cafeteria.
Number of Hours: Casual: 8-10 hours/week
Schedule: 4:00pm–8:00pm or after, every other weekend & holiday rotation.
Educational Requirements: High school diploma desired. He/she must take a modified diet and sanitation course provided through the dietary department.
Other: The applicant must have good customer service skills, be willing to fill in as needed and be a team player. He/she must be well organized and able to follow directions.
