ORANGE CITY AREA HEALTH SYSTEM EXPANDS FAMILY PHYSICIAN GROUP

Dr. Brandon Vander Stoep to join medical staff in 2024

Orange City Area Health System CEO Marty Guthmiller announced that Brandon Vander Stoep, MD, has signed a contract to join the health system’s medical staff in the summer of 2024. Dr. Vander Stoep will serve in family medicine, prenatal/birth care, and emergency medicine (ER). He is currently in the residency program with the Center for Family Medicine in Sioux Falls.

“We enthusiastically embrace and welcome Dr. Vander Stoep to our Orange City Area Health System family,” commented Guthmiller. “He and his wife Katie solidly fit our mission and values in service to Northwest Iowa, where they themselves have deep roots.”

Vander Stoep is a native of Doon, Iowa. He is a graduate of Dordt University in Sioux Center, and the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City. He joins Orange City Area Health System’s team of 24 physicians and advance-level providers and 600 support staff that serve Northwest Iowa in three family medicine clinics, walk-in clinic, award-winning hospital, birth center, surgery center, home health & hospice, and senior care.
