Parents, counselors, teachers, youth group leaders, and other adults involved with youth are invited to attend this season’s second Circle of Support session on Thursday, November 14, from 6:30-8pm at the Prairie Winds Event Center in Orange City. The program, titled “Say yes to success #dothehardwork” will address teen dating and sexuality. According to the evening’s presenter, human services and abstinence educator Dori Horstman, the session will “teach parents how to develop a road map to help their children successfully navigate their way on the journey through puberty, sexuality, dating, and social media.” Hosted by Bethany Christian Services, the program is free of charge and no pre-registration is required. Circle of Support is a collaborative series of sessions revolving around the critical cultural issues impacting youth today, and is sponsored by Orange City Area Health System, the MOCHA Kiwanis Club, Community Health Partners, and Creative Living Center.
