On Saturday, March 30, twenty MOC-Floyd Valley Boys Soccer Team members and their coaches, Dave Miedema and Lyle Lundgren, spent several hours at Prairie Ridge Care Center raking up the piles of corn stalks that had blown into the yards and patio areas over the fall and winter months. Over 11 full pickup loads were hauled to the Orange City compost site. Residents at Prairie Ridge have been eager to have the pygmy goats and chickens make their return to their patio areas as kids are slated to be born starting in early May!
