The Respiratory Therapist provides inpatient and outpatient respiratory treatment modalities. This includes treadmills, respiratory treatments, pulmonary function tests, EKG’s, holter and event monitors. He/she assists with emergent and routine care within the inpatient settings, OB and newborn, PACU, and med/surg.
Number of Hours: Variable (fewer than 15 hours/week on average)
Schedule: Variable schedule and variable on-call hours.
Educational Requirements: Registered Respiratory Therapist, RRT, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications will be required.
Other: Required to be within 20 minutes range of the hospital when on call.
