The Mill Creek Clinic Receptionist functions as the primary receptionist one day per week and the secondary receptionist one day per week. He/she greets and assists patients in person and on the phone, schedules appointments, takes messages and transfers calls, checks patients in and out, verifying and updating patient and insurance information. The Receptionist collects copays, assist patients with filling out and/or signing forms, makes appointment reminder calls, faxes and copies documents as needed. He/she performs other general office duties and works as a member of a team to provide a high level of customer service to patients. Mill Creek Family Practice is located in Paullina, Iowa.
Number of Hours: Casual: 8-16 hours/week
Schedule: Monday 8:00am – 4:30pm, fill in as needed. This position typically will work 8 hours a week during the summer and up to 16 hours a week the rest of the year.
Educational Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent required. Computer experience required.
Other: The applicant must work well with patients in the utmost professional and confidential manner. He/she must possess attention to detail, strong organizational skills and good computer skills. The ability to work with the public in a pleasant and professional manner is a must.
