The Office Assistant is responsible for answering the phone, directing calls, scanning and faxing documents, assisting with required data collection and submission, intake of new referrals into the electronic medical record and a wide variety of other tasks as needed. Number of Hours: Part-time: 20 hours/week
Schedule: Monday and Thursday 8:00am–4:30pm, and Tuesday 8:00am–12:00pm or 12:30pm–4:30pm.
Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Post high school secretarial, medical or computer training preferred.
Other: Good customer service skills are essential. Computer skills necessary with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is necessary. Previous office experience, especially in a medical office setting preferred.
