The Clinic Receptionist greets and assists patients in person and on the phone, schedules appointments by computer, takes messages, enters and verifies patient information. The Receptionist will work as a member of a team to provide a high level of customer service to our patients. He/She will work in the Medical Clinic(s) and PAC (Patient Appointment Center). Other general office duties are also required.
Number of Hours: Part-Time: 20 hours/ 2-3 days a week (actual days may vary)
Schedule:
Monday through Friday hours between 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
Saturday Rotation 7:30 am – 12:00 pm (approximately 5/ year).
Educational Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent required. Customer Service and computer experience required.
Other: The applicant must work well with patients in the utmost professional and confidential manner. This person must be able to work under stress, handling a large amount of phone calls and patient encounters. He/she must have an attention to detail and strong organizational skills and computer skills are required. Ability to work with the public in a pleasant and professional manner is a must.
