Description: The Benefits Specialist is responsible for employee benefit programs, enrollments, and billing. He/she handles leaves of absence and FMLA requests and tracking, data entry and processing for new, current, and terminating employees, and assists with new employee orientation. Other tasks include front desk and filing duties, and other HR and payroll tasks.
Number of Hours:
Full-time: 32-40 hours/week
Schedule: 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday – Friday
Educational Requirements: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in human resources, accounting, business or related field preferred. Computer experience required.
Other: The applicant must be very people oriented, have excellent communication skills, be highly organized, be a team player, have a strong aptitude for detail and accuracy, and complete projects with frequent interruptions in a timely fashion while maintaining strict confidentiality.
