Orange City Area Health System and Northwestern College are partnering to host a community Heart Walk on Saturday, February 18, at the Rowenhorst Student Center on the campus of Northwestern College. This fun and interactive event for all ages is part of the American Heart Association’s “Heart Month” which is celebrated each February.
In addition to the Heart Walk, activities include a mini yoga session, bouncey houses, kids face painting, an exercise basics session, “Red Heart Runway Show,” and a Lunch-and-Learn hosted by a cardiologist. Registration opens at 7:30am, with programming beginning at 9am.
The cost to participate is $10 per person, payable via the web site or the day of the Heart Walk. All proceeds go to the American Heart Association.
