Occupational Therapist joins health system’s pediatric team

Ashley Musch to serve in outpatient, hospital, and home health settings

Ashley Musch, OTD, recently joined the Physical Therapy & Occupational Therapy department at Orange City Area Health System (OCAHS). She will be providing services to the pediatric and general populations in the outpatient, hospital, and home health settings. Musch joins the department’s Pediatric Team consisting of Libby Van Bruggen, MS, OTR/L, two physical therapists, and speech therapy services. This team compliments and integrates with Orange City Area Health System’s pediatrician Megan Fretham, D.O., as well as the health system’s Family Medicine staff serving in three medical clinics, walk-in clinic, and hospital. In providing occupational therapy care to general patients, Musch joins Stacy Wernimont-Diehl, OTD, OTR/L, in collaboration with the entire health care team at OCAHS, as well as specialty/outreach providers and other area physicians. Musch is a Brandon, South Dakota, native. She graduated in 2016 with her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from South Dakota State University and completed her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy degree (OTD) from the University of South Dakota in 2019. Musch recently moved to Orange City from Jacksonville, FL, where she served patients in the pediatric NICU and acute care settings. Prior to that, she provided school-based therapy services in Texas.
