AM Cook Assist
The Cook Assistant works with the cook to set up meal trays for patients. He/she delivers patient trays and is involved in clean up. The Cook Assistant has responsibility for washing dishes, operating the dish machine, and doing assigned cleaning. He/she puts away dishes, stocks items, and helps in the cafeteria. May cross-train as a cook.
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) - Prairie Ridge Care Center

Clinic Nurse - Float/Urology
The Clinic Nurse - Float delivers patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. She/he assists in the patient teaching and is a link between the medical providers and patients. The Clinic Nurse- Float will work directly with a primary care provider and responds to a high volume of patient calls each day, in addition to meeting the needs of the patients with scheduled appointments. The Clinic Nurse- Float will be oriented to work primarily in the Medical and Urology Clinic. The Clinic Nurse Float- will be cross-trained to assist in other Specialty Clinics as needs arise.
Cook
The Cook prepares meals for patients, staff, visitors, and for special events/meetings. The Cook will do food preparation in the kitchen and/or cafeteria grill area. As the AM Cook she/he prepares grill items and does food preparation for the next day. The Cook serves customers and is involved in clean up. He/she will cross- train to other dining services positions, including the grill and cook assist, at the hospital, Prairie Ridge, and Landsmeer Ridge.
Cook - Landsmeer
The Cook prepares meals for patients, staff, visitors, and for special events/meetings and Landsmeer Ridge Retirement Center. The Cook will do food preparation in the kitchen and/or cafeteria grill area. As the AM Cook she/he prepares grill items and does food preparation for the next day. The Cook serves customers and is involved in clean up. He/she will cross- train to other dining services positions, including the grill and cook assist.
EMT/Ambulance Driver
The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is a trained healthcare professional who specializes in providing immediate medical attention and care to patients in emergency situations. They play a crucial role in the pre-hospital setting and during inter-facility transfers, following strict Orange City Area Health System Ambulance protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of patients. With their extensive knowledge and skills, EMTs are capable of handling a wide range of emergency situations and delivering life-saving care to those in need.
Groundskeeper
The Groundskeeper is responsible for mowing, landscaping, snow removal, and caring for the exterior grounds of all Orange City Area Health System facilities. He/she will be involved with interior cleaning and projects as assigned.
Hospital RN
The Hospital RN delivers patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. He/she is required to carry out all general staff duties in acute care.
Host/Hostess
The PRCC Host/Hostess sets a welcoming atmosphere in their assigned cottage by serving meals, attending to cleaning tasks, and spending time with residents. They must have excellent interpersonal skills, be patient with older people, work independently, and be a team player.
Housekeeper
Responsibilities include cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, buffing floors, and washing windows. Ideal candidate should be reliable, self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team, and have good interpersonal skills.
Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician oversees building maintenance and repair, including HVAC, electrical work, plumbing, and preventive maintenance. They must have broad technical skills, knowledge of safety regulations, and excellent communication and customer service skills. The successful candidate should be self-motivated, flexible, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Medical Clinic Primary Nurse
The Medical Clinic Nurse delivers patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. She/he assists in the patient teaching and is a link between the medical provider and patients. The Medical Clinic Nurse will work directly with a primary care provider and will respond to a high volume of phone calls each day, in addition to meeting the needs of the patients with scheduled appointments. The Medical Clinic Nurse may be oriented to work as a float or in triage during provider initiated scheduled days off.
