Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Mechanic is a crucial role responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects related to building maintenance and repair. This includes electrical work, HVAC, plumbing, and preventive maintenance. The Mechanic will be primarily stationed at the Main Hospital Campus and Prairie Ridge Care Center, but may need to visit other locations as required to ensure all buildings are well maintained. The Maintenance Mechanic must have a broad range of technical skills and knowledge to identify, diagnose, and repair all types of mechanical and electrical equipment and systems. The successful candidate must also be up-to-date on all relevant safety regulations and codes, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. The Maintenance Mechanic should have excellent communication and customer service skills, as he or she will be interacting with staff, patients, and residents from diverse backgrounds. The Maintenance Mechanic must also be self-motivated, flexible, and have a positive attitude, as he or she will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Education Requirements:
While certification in electrical, HVAC, plumbing or related fields is preferred, it's not necessary. We will consider and train the right individual who has the desire to be part of a strong team.
Job Schedule:
Full-time: 40 hours/week Schedule: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. Monday – Friday; on-call every 6 weeks / 1 holiday/year.
