EMT/Ambulance Driver
The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is a trained healthcare professional who specializes in providing immediate medical attention and care to patients in emergency situations. They play a crucial role in the pre-hospital setting and during inter-facility transfers, following strict Orange City Area Health System Ambulance protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of patients. With their extensive knowledge and skills, EMTs are capable of handling a wide range of emergency situations and delivering life-saving care to those in need.

Education Requirements:
He/she must be willing to attend or have attended an EMT class approved by the State of Iowa. He/she must be/ become Basic Life Support (BLS) certified.
Job Schedule:
There is no set schedule for the variable position, with up to 12 hours of work per week, and one weekend shift required every eight weeks. EMTs are available on-call 24/7, and the call schedule is flexible to accommodate other work or school commitments.
